Bangkok pauses to applaud healthcare professionals leading the frontline in the coronavirus fight

Bangkok residents joined together at 8 pm on Sunday to applaud healthcare workers as the country continues its fight against the coronavirus outbreak.

Bangkok residents were urged to stand outside their house or applaud from their balconies to show their appreciation for healthcare professionals on the front line.

At least nine doctors and nurses have contracted coronavirus to date.
