Thailand discovers six more cases of coronavirus; all cases in the country’s south

The Thai government said on Monday that it had discovered six new cases of coronavirus infections.

All six cases were found in the country’s south with four cases in Phuket, one case in Yala and one case in Narathiwat.

The total number of infections is now at 3,015 cases.

There were no new fatalities in the last 24 hours with the death toll still at 56.

Two more people have recovered from the disease bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,796 cases.

163 people remain in hospital.
