Three new coronavirus cases discovered in Thailand

The Thai government said on Monday that it had discovered three new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.

That brings the total number of cases discovered in the country to 3,031 total cases.

There were no new fatalities with the death toll still at 56.

One more patient has recovered bringing the total number of discharged patients to 2,857.

118 people remain in hospital.

Of the three new cases, government spokesman Dr Thaweesin Visanuyothin said that they were discovered in Bangkok including one transmission in an office.

Overcrowding from the relaxation of lockdown measures has prompted fears of a second wave of infections.
