One new coronavirus case discovered in Thailand

Thailand’s government said on Monday that it had discovered only one new coronavirus case in the past 24 hours.

The new case was discovered in state quarantine. It is the seventh straight day that new cases were only found in state quarantine, according to government spokesman Dr Thaweesin Visanuyothin.

The new case brings the total number of patients discovered in Thailand to 3,082.

Two more patients have recovered from the virus bringing the total number of discharged patients to 2,965.

There were no new fatalities with the death toll still at 57.

Sixty people remain in hospital.
