Thailand’s government said on Wednesday that it had discovered five new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, all in state quarantine.
The new discoveries bring the total number of cases up to 3,232 cases.
Of the five, two are Thai returnees from the United Arab Emirates; two from Singapore; and one from the United States.
There was one new recovery from the virus leaving the total number of discharged patients at 3,092 cases.
There are no new fatalities leaving the death toll at 58.
Currently, 82 people remain in hospital.
