Thailand discovers five new cases of coronavirus in state quarantine

The Thai government said on Sunday that it had discovered five new cases of coronavirus in state quarantine, all Thais returning from abroad.

The new cases brings the total number of Covid-19 infections to 3,317.

Seven people were discharged from hospital on Sunday bringing the total number of recoveries to 3,142.

117 patients remain in hospital.

The death toll remains at 58.
