Thailand discovers five new cases of coronavirus in state quarantine on Monday

Thailand’s government on Monday said that it had discovered five new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

The patients are from India (2), Bahrain (1), Japan (1), Malaysia (1), and one Thai returnee.

The new discoveries bring the total number of cases up to 3,590.

There were no new fatalities leaving the death toll at 59.

Two more patients have recovered from the virus with the total number of discharged patients now at 3,390.

Currently, 141 people remain in hospital.
