Thailand discovers 13 new cases of coronavirus in state quarantine on Thursday

Thailand’s government on Thursday said that it had discovered thirteen new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

The patients are returnees from Myanmar (6), South Sudan (3), Lebanon (1), Netherlands (1), Italy (1), and Ethiopia (1).  Three of the six patients from Myanmar have already returned to their home country for treatment.

The new discoveries bring the total number of cases up to 3,665.

There were no new fatalities leaving the death toll at 59.

Six new patients have recovered from the virus with the total number of discharged patients now at 3,463.

Currently, 143 people remain in hospital.
