[Poetry] Edge of Tomorrow

Standing, at the edge,
I wonder if my leaders hear,
the voices and the struggles
of the system we have to bear.

Standing, at the edge,
I wonder if the elders care,
to promise us a future
that they took from us in fear.

Standing, at the edge,
I wonder if my kids will see
a set of different colours
than red, yellow, and green.
