Thailand discovers 16 new case of coronavirus in state quarantine on Thursday

Thailand’s government on Thursday said that it had discovered 16 new case of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

The patients are from Kuwait (2), Qatar (1), Sweden (1), Switzerland (1), Turkey (1), UAE (1), and the United States (1).

The new discoveries bring the total number of cases up to 3,942.

There were no new fatalities leaving the death toll at 60.

Eight new patients have recovered from the virus with the total number of discharged patients now at 3,788.

Currently, 94 people remain in the hospital.
