Thailand’s government said on Tuesday that it had discovered nine cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours in state quarantine.
The patients are from United Arab Emirates (2), Hong Kong (1), Hungary (1), France (1), United Kingdom (2), India (2), Bahrain (1), United States (1), Myanmar (3) and Brazil (1).
The new discovery brings the total number of cases up to 4,261, which 2,463 of those were contracted locally.
There are no new fatalities leaving the death toll at 60.
28 people have recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of discharged patients to 3,977.
Currently, 224 people remain in hospital.
