A new rap video released by the government to promote their vaccination drive has come under fire for stealing intellectual property without giving the original artist proper credit or compensation.
The rap video in question was released this week by the government and seeks to entice viewers to get vaccinated with fanciful colors and animation.
However, social media commentators were quick to point out the similarities between the government’s videos and a video released by Thai rapper Lin Tid Fire seven months prior. They were quick to point out the similar patterns, style of animation and color palette chosen by the government’s team.

Thai Enquirer has reached out the producers of the Lin Tid Fire team who confirmed that the government did not ask for permission to use their intellectual property and that they had not been compensated.
Calls by Thai Enquire to the CCSA and the Prime Minister’s Office were not returned.
