Siamese Satirist: Prayut set to meet with his 40 closest friends to ask them about Covid response

Prime Minister and despot Prayut Chan-ocha will meet with 40 of his closest friends on Wednesday to discuss how the pandemic is going for everyone.

While people die on the streets and tens of thousands get infected, Prayut is set to ask the 40 richest Thai people whether he could do anything else to help make the pandemic go better for them.

Among those attending the “CEO Crisis Talk” will be the heads of Gulf Energy, King Power, the AOT, CP and other companies that have benefited from their close ties to the government.

Prayut has previously considered their requests before, most notably when he did not shut down the country before Songkran as not to affect their bottom line, and it would not be a surprise if he considered their requests again.

After all, who better to help the plight of the poor than the 40 richest, most wealthy Thais – many of whom flew to the US to get vaccinated or had Pfizer vaccines flown in for them.
