The Thai government said on Sunday that it had discovered five new cases of coronavirus infections including one new case in Bangkok.
The total number of infections is now at 3,009 cases. There were no new fatalities in the last 24 hours with the death toll still at 56.
Seven more people have recovered from the disease bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,794 cases.
159 people remain in hospital.
