Killer cop still at large following viral video of him torturing drug suspect to death in cold blood

Former Police Colonel Thitisant “Joe” Uttanapol who was allegedly caught on camera extorting and suffocating a man to death remains at large along with two other police officers/murder suspects local media reported Wednesday.

Four men have been arrested and detained following a leaked video which showed Joe torturing and attempting to extort two million baht from Jeerapong Thanapat, a 24-year-old drug suspect. Jeerapong was suffocated with a plastic bag.

However, Joe and two other assailants remain at large with police unable to answer if he has already fled abroad.

Police Inspector-General Visanu Prasattongosoth, who is in charge of the case, said on Wednesday that there is clear evidence against Joe and he should turn himself in.

If found guilty, he could be jailed for life.

Thitisant is also known as Joe Ferrari in Thai Media for his exorbitant wealth and his possession of a dozen luxury sports vehicles.
